Deacon Aaron Mutnick

Aaron was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. After high school he received a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University, a juris doctor from Baylor Law School, and is currently practicing law with a small civil litigation firm in Waco. He came to Calvary in 2005 upon the recommendation of his sister and brother-in-law, Emilee and Kasey Mutnick Ashenfelter.
Aaron states: "I often hear myself saying that Calvary is a "neighborhood church" -yet the majority of our large facility is relatively unoccupied and unused for most of the week, so I am not really sure why I think that makes us a "neighborhood church." As a deacon I want to encourage imagination and creativity in the way we use our space and see that vision come to life just like Calvary's ESL classes and the Community Garden. Hopefully being a deacon on the "First Touch" team will allow me to connect with a wide variety of people that want to help figure out ways to wear the church carpets thin from activity."
